The Team
Kylie Marquenie
Director / Occupational TherapistMOccThySt | BAppSc(BioChem)

From the beginning, Kylie was passionate about working with children to help them achieve their fullest potential, whilst supporting caregivers to develop a deeper understanding of the uniqueness of their child.
Kylie has 20 years experience in Paediatric Occupational Therapy. She completed her Masters of Occupational Therapy Studies at the University of Queensland in 2006. She then developed and refined her paediatric skills at a number of highly regarded practices and settings in both Sydney and Brisbane, before establishing a private practice in 2010. In 2020, this private practice was relocated to the Sunshine Coast. The practice continues to focus on evaluating and supporting children with sensory processing challenges, motor and coordination issues, autism, ADHD, developmental delays, learning difficulties, and school readiness concerns. Kylie has extensive experience professionally and personally navigating the education system for neurodiverse children, and can support caregivers and their children in their learning journey.
Kylie is active with her Continuing Professional Development (CPD), having undertaken periodic mentoring, and attending many post-graduate training courses to ensure she is providing the most effective treatment options to her clients.
Kylie is a mum of three active boys, one of whom is proudly neurodivergent. She truly understands how life gets busy, and how it can be challenging to balance "everyday stuff" with trying to best meet your child/rens needs. Hence, she enjoys partnering with families to help them problem solve how to realistically fit therapeutic strategies and interventions into their daily lives without it becoming overwhelming.
